update: reinstalled and moved it to different locations made sure firewall and antivirus weren't blocking it ran as administrator ran in windows 8 compatibility modes no dice, nothing continues to happen after clicking 'Accept'

Hi! I just installed the new launcher, but when i go to use it and click 'Accept', nothing happens. Can anyone help me out with this?
