It does work in any power, it's a global proc and I have had it proc when I have it slotted in other powers, personally I have Essence boost 6 slotted with the proc and it still works all the time -

ST DPS yes, Recluse is top, but for AoE DPS it's defo Statesman, honestly just go the Tank sig summon, ignore the others, and you will be Gucci 💛 They should 100% not be free and I think the 10m prize point is perfectly fine as they are a way for people with too much money to sink money into something that can help a ton in certain areas, the game needs money sinks with how easy it is to make influence, otherwise we will all be sat on billions with nothing to spend it on 😄-

The top 3 were fantastic; however only the first place stone gargoyle fit the stated theme. Third place winner was a wonderous look. I whould have judged it first place.. for a Vamp theme. She was even introduced with a blood drinking comment. Do you judges watch South Park? I was sure so many did I thought for sure so many would finally get it from South Park's episode featuring the Goth kids. Suggesting a Goth drinks blood is not understanding the Goth at all. Drinking blood? That's for those wacked out Vamps.
Second place winner looked cool. .. Glowing eyes and all. His appearance suggests arcane, magic, mysticism and/or supernatural power. Again.. Vamp.
Look.. the point is to have fun. I am frequently participating in the contests and enjoy the gathering every time. .. Even when the winners don't fit the theme (I'll just let my Goth show, shake my head and mumble "Figures. I'm not surprised at the lack of understanding of the NOT-so-subltle differences in cultures). I get new ideas. Most times I end up with a new alt inspired from creating for a theme. .. And there's thinking the winners did look so good they should have won something.
Again, the theme was "Gothic" Which vampires VERY much fit the theme of. I understand if people are frustrated the costumes they thought should win didn't, however when people make posts like this you are not raising those costumes up, you are just bringing down the people who did place which isn't nice, which makes even less sense when the costumes DO fit the theme but people mistake it for another theme, and from a host point of view it limits the theme I can pick as honestly I can't be bothered to deal with people taking it too seriously, please remember it is a game and if it is making you upset, step away for a moment and ask yourself is this worth being upset over?-

Glinting eye is a power that can be used in both human form and Squid form, although it is stronger in Squid form, I would suggest taking it as your level 1 power 💛

Also being fully honest for a moment, it is perspectives like this that make the contest not fun to run, I've had it with a few themes now where a few people will appoint themselves the experts on that theme and disregard how others view it. This is a game with people from all over the world, of all different ages, with incredibly points of view and not a single one of us can claim to be the expert on X theme. Please remember that this is a contest ran by players just trying to do something fun for people, help encourage people to use the amazing costume creation tool, and overall just have a fun social time, there's a reason the only rules are no copyright or powers that affect other costumes because I don't want it to become something bogged down with rules and criteria.-

1. They investigated your complaint and disagreed for whatever reason. I don't see any of those outcomes as helpful or beneficial. It creates the potential for a new series of appeals that have to be addressed on top of addressing current problems. It creates additional animosity between players and between players and HC. Everyone knows the outcome but what benefit is gained?
I wouldn't want the results publicly posted anywhere as that is just a shaming board which doesn't help anything. To me and this is just my opinion which could very much be wrong but this is how those situations would go:
1 - Complaint disregarded - Complainer understands what happened isn't an issue to the GMs and can make a decision if they still wish to play depending on what it is they complained about. Aggressor has no idea anything has happened and continues on complying with the GMs verdict without even knowing.
2 - Temp ban - Complainer is informed a temporary ban has been given and to let them know if it repeats when they get back, making the complainer feel seen and safe. Aggressor gets a temp ban due to X reason and can either decide to leave the game or stop doing X, or continuing doing X until perma ban. This has the added bonus of others who have been victim to the Aggressor but didn't feel confident reporting, to have to not worry anymore without having to do anything.
3 - Perma ban - Complainer is informed and to let them know if the person returns on an alt account and the team will handle it, making them feel safe and seen. Aggressor gets a ban and can decide to move on with their life or try to evade it and catching more bans. This has the added bonus of others who have been victim to the Aggressor but didn't feel confident reporting, to have to not worry anymore without having to do anything.
Whatever the HC team decide to do in the future is fully up to them and I will still play the game as long as I am not feeling too uncomfortable because of others, I am just making a suggestion that might help players who are victims feel a bit more seen and understood when they do complain. Also just to make sure this is clear I do love and adore the HC team, they are far from perfect as most of them eat Kheldians, but they are amazing people doing an amazing job keeping a game we all love running and super populated with content 💛-

It'll be no longer than a single month for someone to use the "We gave them a temporary ban" for it to end up in general chat as a way to mock someone and in a circle the GM's will go dealing with the fallout.
I understand that statement, and if it gets leaked then the person who submitted the initial report should also get a warning or temp ban imo. Just at the moment it gives the impression of nothing is being done and the GM team don't care when it's a repeat offender openly bragging about it, which I am sure is not the case but it is how it feels, which is disheartening as both a player and a leader of events-

I am sure there are a few people who like me have been subject to harassment or griefing in game, we submit a ticket with plenty of proof, we get the corporate reply of "We are opening an investigation", the ticket gets moved to completed.
Then we still see the person in game harassing us and griefing our content, leaving us wondering if the GMs gave them a warning, didn't find any wrong doing, or if they even did anything at all. And without knowing anything about what was done leaves us wondering if it's even worth reporting it again or just having to deal with it, however if we get a brief update of "A warning was issued" or "Nothing we found was breaking ToS" then we can know if it's worth reporting again.
And before anyone says "Just ignore them" that only works to a small degree, it doesn't stop them griefing your events, making spoof characters with offensive bios, or even just making another free account to message you. Ignoring is a tool but not a fix all tool-
