Likewise.  I've been playing since May 2019.  All of a sudden, today, upon every attempt to boot the game, I get nothing except the following message from Homecoming Crash Manager:

Unfortunately, the City of Heroes client encountered an unexpected error and must close.

The error occurred in cityofheroes.exe at relative address 0x5b67b.

I have Windows 10 machine.  Everything has been fine until today.

This happened with the beta manifest xml selected.  I tried switching to another manifest xml which gave me a list of errors and wouldn't allow me to load the game earlier.

But now, all of a sudden, the alternative xml has worked and I was able to load the game again.

I'll attach the crash report generated from using the beta manifest xml anyway.

Our manifests went through a few mix-ups from what I recall - wrong game client executables; it was fixed a little while back, so you'll probably find that the regular manifest should work just fine now, if you revalidate your files and so on.
