Hello all, I'm going to be making a Brute, and I can't decide on what Powers I want, but I'm set on the concept (Superman knockoff).

I'm leaning towards Street Justice or Super Strength for the Primary. I know that SS is considered the Superman power, but I've been having a lot of fun with SJ lately. I haven't gotten very far with a toon with either, so I'd appreciate any analysis of the differences between them, and how they relate to the Secondary options.

For the Secondary, I'm thinking Invulnerability (obviously) or Willpower (also obviously). I'd also consider any Power that has minimal effects.

What power pools should I consider? I'll be taking Flight (again, obviously), but what about other powers like Combat Jumping, or Hover, or Tactics, etc? What Powers go well with this concept/build, and what levels should I take them? Also, is Hover a good option for a defensive power, or should I just skip it?

Thanks in advance!

People could reply writing a book, if you wanted post a build with power choices and see if we can make it effective role and concept wise.

Some players make their characters all about them, if it doesn't help them, they don't want it, their build advice to you will ofcourse be about making your character the best thing that helps them too if they ever team with you, because it's always about them.

@CKent83OP I think you answered your own question through your own suggestions.  Your suggestions to yourself indeed align with your theme (not visible on the costume, adhere to Superman's fighting style).

If you take hover, you likely won't need combat jumping (unless you really want that extra bit of defense) because if you're hovering... you ain't jumping.

A normal brute build would take Leadership: Maneuvers, Fighting: Tough and Weave, and either Leaping: Combat Jumping/Super Jump, or Flying: Fly/Hover.

Outside of sharing a build with us, or offering a build and asking for critique, there isn't a much deeper discussion available.  At the very least, try sharing a build with us =)
