Window Opacity changing itself

I've been having this problem for a few days at least. I attempted to increase my window opacity because I want to see through them, but no so clearly that I can't tell which window is in front. I changed it to 70ish %, clicked apply now, and they immediately faded down to like 30%. No matter what setting I change it to, the game always lowers it.

To answer some responses ahead of time.
1. Yes I clicked apply now, no I did not click reset or anything else.
2. This persists across multiple characters.

3. This persists even with closing & reopening the game, & I do mean completely closing the game to the point that Tequila re-verifies the files.

I have noticed the difference between 87% (where I like it) and 86% is like night and day.  87% perfect...86% can't see them hardly at all.

 

And map is always opaque 😞

I'm not sure what you're responding to, my problem is affecting all my windows, everything.

I am simply agreeing with you that the % slider seems wonky and throwing in a sidebar regarding the map window that I wish abided by the aforementioned wonky slider.
