Fire/Rad Scrapper or Brute

So I am torn between a scrapper and a brute for a Fire/Rad build.

 

Scrapper will do better burst dmg but the brute has better survivability.

 

Give me some direction...other pros or cons that I may have missed.

First off, when you say Fire/Rad, do you mean Fiery Melee/Radiation Armor? Or do you mean, Radiation Melee/Fiery Aura?

 

Second, are you planning to use it as a farmer?

Fire melee/ rad armor and not a farmer.

I'd go Brute since Rad is a resist armor set and Brutes can take much better advantage of it.
