New player. Do I choose Freedom or Going Rogue?

Hi I'm new to this game. Do I create a character on Freedom first? and then transfer character to Going Rogue expansion after?

How does it work? Thanks.

If you choose Freedom you can start in the normal old-school tutorials, as either a Hero or a Villain. You'll do the tutorial then end up in your starter zone depending on which side you went for.

 

If you choose Rogue you start as a Praetorian and work through a different storyline, picking between Loyalist and Rebels or some such. I believe at the end of the story arc, around level 20, you then get to pick whether to end up on the Heor or Villain side.I'm sure someone with more familiarity will chime in if I'm wrong, I've not actually tried Going Rogue yet myself!
