Any experienced Shield / Savage Tanks?

Hello All!

 

A friend recently got me into COH Homecoming after learning that I played back in the day and I'm super excited to rejoin! Iike the idea of a Shield / Savage Tank as I've got a costume made, but I'm unsure of how to build him. 

 

Are there any experienced Tanks that have played those power sets together and could offer build advice?

 

Does anyone have any strong opinions on why any alternate primary power would be better with Savage?

 

Any tips and / or build shares are greatly appreciated!

I have been told it's not optimal but at lvl 45 mine is very fun, still playing with builds, when I decide i'll post it here for you.
