Powerboosted fade not working

I tried powerboost and then fade... and then fade and powerboost.  Neither worked.  They both reflected the base 9.38% defense number provided by an unslotted fade.  Nothing more.

 

Does powerboost not affect fade?

This was patched recently. I think it was erroneously boosting the +RES portion of the power as well, which in turn boosted your DMG (RES and DMG are related in the game engine) if I am not mistaken. Either way it was supposed to boost RES and was patched to fix the issue.
