Xoza
This is my support build I've always enjoyed playing. I started with pistols in Homecoming because it was different then my original build, however I returned to Rad because I remembered why with the -DEF Rad which Kinetics often relies on when syphoning targets. No travel power due to Ninja Run+Sprint+Syphon Speed = Capped Speed [WORK IN PROGRESS], tell me your thoughts and ideas, will update original below information as its updated. Without_Pause
The med pool on a Kin. I just... Clearly your target build is different than what I would play, but I would at least move up the attack powers. Top 10 Most Fun 50s. 1. Without Mercy: Claws/ea Scrapper. 2. Outsmart: Fort 3. Sneakers: Stj/ea Stalker. 4. Emma Strange: Ill/dark Controller. 5. Project Next: Ice/stone Brute. 6. Waterpark: Water/temp Blaster. 6. Mighty Matt: Rad/bio Brute. 7. Without Hesitation: Claws/sr Scrapper. 8. Within Reach: Axe/stone Brute. 9. Without Pause: Claws/wp Brute. 10. Chasing Fireworks: Fire/time Controller. "Downtime is for mortals. Debt is temporary. Tooth
I agree with Without_Pause. Your attacks should be taken sooner. Especially Atomic Blast - take it right at 38, then go from group to group nuking everything while you're damage capped. I would drop Electron Haze and Proton Volley. The KB is counter productive to Kin and Proton Volley is too slow. Add X-Ray Beam or Irradiate (or both) instead. Drop the Medicine pool. As a Kin you're not about healing (besides Transfusion is better than Aid Other/Aid Self combined) and rezzing. If someone needs a rez then toss them an Awaken and hit them with Increase Density. That'll get them back in the fight. Take the Leadership pool! I usually take everything from Leadership on Kins except Vengeance (sometimes for the lols I take Vengeance anyway, or if I PuG a lot). Hope this helps!
shushilady
Also, the activation time on irradiate is MUCH faster than electron haze. Plus the -def in an AoE (vs a narrowish cone) is pretty huge, esp with the higher debuff values that defenders get. Nice to hit irradiate for the -def right before you kaboom yourself with atomic blast. You probably won't get a ton of use out of proton volley on fast moving teams, and with all your buffs those are the only kind of teams you're gonna be on 8) Now, with all that said back on live I took electron haze AND proton volley, because I love the rad animations and the pew pew noises. Xoza
Wow, thanks for all the input. Great points. I've been working on it gradually and I've updated the original post. Now planning for sets. I've noticed a lot of Kin's powers don't compliment set bonuses. Should I pull the slots from those powers completely? - Xoza Shadow (@Xoza) Ordo Imperialis / Xoza.net Everlasting / Excelsior Arcon | Yuri'ko | Xoza | Nebulum | Novae | Nebulae | Chell | Rayn | Mendalara | Teslia | Cybernet | Teras Kasi | Arcstalker | Bull Rush My Costume Archive | My Characters & Creations | My Binds/Macros | My Club
FlutteringUnicorn
If you use a Sudden Accleration: Knockback to Knockdown enchancement repel become much more viable for a kinetic. Make your own bounce house!
