DP/Pain build request

Hey everyone, I am pretty much a noob as I haven't played since the first year COH came out. I am wanting to try and come up with a character that will be able to solo alright but still have the ability to support a group when I get into groups. I saw the /pain was a good support spec for the heals and buffs/debuffs available. I wasn't sure if a different class/spec would be better for what I was wanting. If DP/Pain seems good for my wants, would anyone be willing to help with a leveling build? Mostly what abilities to take as I level since I seem to always build wrong from what is most effective.
