SuperGroup Salvage Permissions - Allowing Anyone?

Hey guys!

 

I recently found out about the ability to use a passcode to allow others into your SG base, even if they aren't members - other ways too, but this way they could always come back.  Because of this feature, I had an idea - if I could make a base where anyone could use my salvage racks, build IO's and the like.  Unfortunately, there's no option in the SuperGroup permissions to let anyone walking around access the salvage racks.  I was hoping to make my storage life easier, and easier for my friends too!  If there's any chance a feature like this could be implemented, I would appreciate it a lot : :D

This question comes up often enough, but I suspect the limitation is a protection against griefing. 

 

If you really truly know everyone in each SG you are coalied with, and trust them implicitly... okay.

 

But frankly, I don't.  And I wouldn't want any ol' body to be able to come into my personal base and help themselves to the 'fridge, so to speak.

 

That being said, if this were something that could be implemented as an option or permission setting, I could get behind that.

I suppose the other option, that makes much more sense, is to limit the salvage permissions to Global Friends and any of your alts.  I think that would work really well, don't you think?  Or even, use a by person basis, if you're not as sure about some of your global friends, and if they would abuse it.  Thanks for the input Kat!
