TheAltOption Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I doubt there's a single person that would choose 2+ hour queue over lag. Even the crashing wasn't as bad as this. *raises hand* You have my sword. And my bow.
pooper Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 *raises hand* At least there's a couple of people that are desperate enough to wait 3 hours just to crash. Some people can't be that big of a fanboy.

Mindweaver Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Looks like I picked a good night to finally try to get in and test this out, might go back to convincing myself to keep waiting until we hopefully get an official more permanent non-test server situation. :D
fulleclipse74 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I crashed at 5:48, before the Q was implemented. logged in was at select screen for over 45 min. went back choose server bam Q was like ok cool..... Now currently 123 @ 10:47.. about 100% positive by the time i do make it in it will be very short lived and that will conclude my gaming for the day. I did manage to get 35 min of play around 130 this afternoon that was pretty awesome, had a couple nice groups. Sadly I am with the lot that agrees the Q is to much and needs to be shortened or removed, as much as I love this game and am eternally grateful for all those involved in making this happen the supply just cannot keep up with demand and with the ensuing people flooding back to this game there has to be a way to get more servers online. I have read a lot, as I sat and waited there are so many people wanting to give funds to help, but I did not see anything about letting the community band together in groups to cover server costs like for example we need 3 more servers to actually balance the population. and each server would run roughly 3k a month. then 30 people could come together and pay that and so on or 300 people I dont know what requirements the servers need to meet to do what they do, but the "team" does...Reach out to those of us who want to make more servers happen...we WANT to pay for them ...
Surelle Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I doubt there's a single person that would choose 2+ hour queue over lag. Even the crashing wasn't as bad as this. I greatly prefer the queue-- where people that are still on and playing have way better server performance-- to everyone constantly mega-lagging and crashing off the server all the time. Ugh. I can't believe you even said that. Please quit trolling.
Amidamaru Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 In SWL, you can toggle auto-run and aim at a wall, and that will spoof the server into thinking you're active so that you don't get auto-dc'd for inactivity. I cant' help but wonder if that's what people are doing now, so that they don't lose their place when they have to go out for a few hours. If so, that's really a dick move, since some of us would like to actually play sometime before double xp is over.
