Everytime I've tried to search on a subject I've gotten thousands of responses including tv shows, movies, etc., not the topic I was in.

yes. it's a bit wonky to use the search here.

 

"this topic' for the thread you're currently in. AND then an extra step of selecting 'and' or 'the phrase'.
