Eric Rosen Totally Immaterial

Well about halfway thru the Mission Eric Rosen comes trotting into the room I am in, opens an Overhead Door ( ??? ) and then turns and runs for the mission door. I run him down and attack, he responds with some Grenades then turns, runs thru a stack of Cargo Containers and off the exposed map, I ran for the exit, rounded a corner and saw him come out of the wall running. Was able to finally defeat him, but what on Earth was that? The angle that he ran off the map at matches up with where he reappeared, probably the NPC pathway grid under the mission map has some sort of issue.

If not, I want his powerset as a pool power, please.
