Patron Arc... Will teammates who join on the last mission unlock their epic powers?

If have accepted the final mission of a Patron Arc (Ghost Widow... Defeat Numina), and I invite a team before the mission starts, will my teammates also unlock their power pool?  This is of course assuming they are level 35+ villains.

Any level 1+ Rogue, Villain, or Vigilante that joins your team prior to the start of the final patron arc mission (in this case "Defeat Numina), will obtain the badge to unlock patron power pools.
