I threw together this Pine's build to see what it would look like without any purple/ATO/winter sets. Any suggestions or feedback on the Rad secondary or build as you see it? Ohmslice Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Here's a high end build I have been toying with on my solo server. This particular iteration isn't made yet but it's just some minor changes and, overall, I'm pretty happy with the character. Powers to skip, IMO: Defensive Sweep - can keep in while leveling or building things up, but I like the attack chain of Rend > Follow > Arc > Crushing > Follow. Either or is probably fine. Titan Sweep - Between Whirling and Arc I haven't really needed more AoE. Could always supplement with Epic pools depending on build. Confront - No room for it in my particular build at this time. Can be nice to off tank or peel off squishies in a team. Ground Zero - I could see using this on a Tanker and maybe a Brute. My build is focused on me surviving. I chose Soul Mastery for Shadow Meld (ie Mini-Elude). Capping all defenses for 15 seconds every ~24ish seconds is really great for initiating fights or for prolonged fights. MoonBeam is there mostly for pulling, but snipers have an interesting characteristic (not sure if true on homecoming) but if you exceed ToHit of 95% it becomes instant cast. Cue Tactics with double +ToHit procs in Beta Decay. Having an instant attack to throw at the end of the attack chain is pretty nice. This was the minor change I made to the build - hoping to exploit this a bit more. Mostly using Meltdown for the +damage as it is the highest on scrappers - Don't need it for survival usually due to Shadow Meld. Radiation Therapy and Particle Shielding handle the of survival needs. The addition of Tactics could made endurance an issue. Looking forward to testing it. Also, this is build so you'll be capped on s/l/melee defense with a small luck. So moving around slots and powers is possible if you want to use a different epic (or none). I'm still toying around with both sets, but I figure it is nice to see the thought processes of others.
