Is it possible to get other events going?

So I'm sure other people have questioned it or are thinking about it. We got the double XP this weekend, awesome. Is it possible to activate the Christmas event or Halloween? Zombie apocalypse. Rikti invasions.

 

I'm sure it is possible. And maybe it isn't something that should be considered until the server is more stable. But still....

I think once the servers are more stable they will look at introducing events. I miss rikti invasions but can only imagine the laaaaaaaag one would cause right now. Give it a lil bit of time though and I am sure we will start to see such things.

my thoughts exactly. with the popularity of this game and how many people have logged on/try to, it's like an organic Denial of Service attack on the servers. even if they didn't do double xp weekend (which is an extremely small change compared to a holiday event), the servers still would be struggling to stay functioning.
