Psi/pain or psi/kin build

Looking to make a telepath character. I think /pain fits the concept of helping people heal from trauma but have no idea how to build a decent psi/pain character any advice is welcomed.

I am PAINFULLY trying to like a psi/pain. That wasn't a pun, it's not fun. Well, to me.

 

Pain just ... Meh. Kin, I have many of those, always good. Try both to about 32, you'll see what I mean.

Personally i recommend your pain toon being paired with either a controller or mastermind so you can use your ally only abilities on your pets if solo.
