Anyhow, here's my tank on everyone's favorite, drunken, ready-to-rumble, lil' blue guys with big attitudes.

I've been leveling him on common IO's + ATO + a few globals, been a lot of fun. Trying for a more complete, soft-cap build... but, it's UGLY.

Currently playing with a few different configurations, have had SP taken and ToF slotted, with just SL 45%+ and ENFC 32.5%+, lots of Impervium Armor slotted for End and anti-Psi, but wound up not slotting Moonbeam. After poking the builds and seeing the set benefits of Reactive Armor, I tried moving slots and powers around to get something else... and have the abomination below.

So, non-negotiables:
Soul Mastery and taking the Widow - It's Tiffany, Pictsie's gotta have his Biggun with him sometimes.
Perma-Dull Pain
95% To-Hit on +4's w/o buildup for attack powers

Wants:
Soft-cap Defenses
No muled attack powers

- Replaced Aid Other with Super Speed. If you don't like SS, can be replaced with another travel power or anything else.

You found what I forgot, last night - the 4 slot bonus of UG is major Melee, minor SL... And that's enough to pop over the cap.

Swapped back to OF instead of Sirr - better enhancement and bonuses, IMO, even at the loss of damage proc...
Grabbed Assault as my one-slot wonder. I don't take travel powers, they do nothing in combat.

Glad to help! I swapped out OF to cap accuracy for Kick, but it's at 97+% so NBD.

 

For Placate, if I'm only one-slotting it, I just go level 50 recharge reduction IO. One Perfect Zinger, except the for Proc IO, provides no bonus.

 

I really like Shadow Maul. You might reconsider taking it at a future date.

Yeah, the Perfect Zinger one slotting is more for the hybrid enhancement - At the levels of recharge I'm at, I only gain <1 sec recharge with a 50+5, and <0.5sec with an 53 Ectosome (And I don't have to buy 4 Ectosome's!!!!).

Fortunately, or unfortunately, not my first rodeo with DM - Ran a DM/EnA Brute on Legacy, buzzsaw build (Smite>SP>SL>SP>...) - tried Shadow Maul then, did NOT like the huge change in tempo. I also skipped ToF on that toon... I've very much appreciated the buffs to it, even if it makes slotting harder.

Kick is a mule... It's only at 82% vs +4, and only 65% Damage enhanced - It's there as a lowbie filler 2x KD chance if needed. Better than slotting Brawl, right?
