Could Storm/Time/Soul Work?

Hi everyone,

 

I'm pretty new to the game and am looking for something to become my main. I've played around with a few different characters and haven't found anything that's fit my wants exactly, but I really like the /Time set for Corruptors. Storm also looks cool, and I'd love to use Soul Mastery for RP purposes, but I haven't seen any Storm/Time builds on here. I guess my main questions would be:

 

1. Could a build like this solo high-level content? I would mostly play solo and on an inconsistent schedule but I'd like to be able to tackle the highest level of challenges the game has to offer. I've seen some Fire/Time/Soul and Ice/Time/Soul builds able to solo, so I'd like something similar (it doesn't' have to be as quick/meta/op, just able to do the content).

2. Does Storm work well with Soul Mastery anyways? I know Storm behaves kinda weird so I'm not sure if Soul is even worth it here, but I'd like to use it if possible.

Soul Mastery is one of the two Epics that you almost have to take with Time because it has Power Boost (the other is Energy for Power Build Up). Among other things, Power Boost provides an almost 80% buff to the defense and tohit in Farsight for its full duration, making it very easy to soft cap your defenses.

 

Storm Blast works differently from most blast sets due to the mechanics of Storm Cell and Cat 5. I find it a lot of fun but others dislike it. I suggest creating one at lvl 50 on the test server and trying it out (you can slot all the enhancements for free).

Thanks for the insight. This might be a stupid question, but do you know if Storm Blast is capable of soloing AVs and such at level 50+? I can test on the test server, but I’m still learning how to actually chain attacks and slot enhancements so I might not be the best judge of Storm’s capabilities.

I would assume the right storm blast build could solo an AV... However, I don't know if /time is the AV soloist.  Soloing an AV on a corruptor is at least as much about buffs/debuffs as it is about damage.  Time doesn't offer a ton of -regen or -resist, which might cause it to suffer a bit.
