Budget rad/elec for rikti pounding

Oh hallowed builders of homecoming I come to you today with a request to help me bring those shovelheads down a few pegs. The concept is rad/elec and while I'll probably make inf in the future I am very poor now and have limited play time. So a budget build to fight the rikti exclusively is what I'd love from the builders.

 

I do not plan on teaming. I just plan to clock off from work every night and destress by pounding shovelheads. Please help!

Not sure why you're picking energy damage to fight Rikti. All the lieutenants and bosses have 30% resistance to S/L/E (as well as psi for the Mentalists/Mesmerists). You'd be better served with Fire Melee, or to a lesser extent, Ice or Dark.

There is also the issue of does it need to be a Brute versus a Tanker. Tankers get bigger AoEs. If farming is the point, then it is worth talking about. Rad melee is ideal for generic S/L farms. Elec/rad is top tier for Tankers so even a budget build would work well.
