Magic Trap petless mm veteran level 26 no pets since lvl 1

So people wanted to see my beast/traps with no pets build since i was saying he was my favorite and i never had pets.

He doesn't use any beast powers.  Melee/traps/and he has provoke.  It's always a trap.

 

i have no idea how to show this build but its attacked as legacy i think

Magic Trap: The Cursed and the Chosen

He doesn’t remember his old name. The Circle of Thorns took that from him, along with everything else. They dragged him into the depths beneath Paragon City, carving runes into his flesh, warping his mind with dark rituals. He was meant to be their vessel, a conduit for their magic—but something went wrong.

The pain forged resistance. The runes meant to enslave him became his Rune of Protection, shielding him. When they tried to break his spirit, he burned back with Enflame, turning his agony into power. In the chaos, he escaped.

Now, he walks the streets, nameless and homeless, a ghost among the forgotten. The only warmth he finds comes from the stray dogs that seem drawn to him. But he has a purpose. Using his magic, he hunts those who would kidnap and enslave, setting traps for the wicked.

No one is coming for the lost.

So he does.

A fun challenge build, and a well put together backstory!

 

Is there a specific reason you didn't roll this as a Defender? Is it purely a challenge run? A Defender with traps would have superior values and access to all the powers you are actually using.

Masterminds can use the 3 henchmen powers to mule the ATO (3 times) for 10% Global recharge each by investing only in 3 slots.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

The endurance penalty (for MMs) and lower values point me in a different direction.

I'm on the roleplay server and im trying to make some heroes that are not supermen.

It depends.  One punch man was pretty good.

Also, trip mine on a defender is not much but trip mine on a mm is nasty.

i also have defenders.  i skip trip mine.
