sloppyjoespit Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Getting my dark/energy blaster almost to 50 and I’m looking for some good builds to consider. I want to be able to do high end content and maybe even PvP if possible. Not too concerned with budget. Any builds anyone would like to share?
Sapphire Lotus Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Here is my proposed Dark/Energy, currently im running up a Dark/Rad atm but will eventually run this one.... Soft Capped on S/L/En/F/C/ I think its pretty decent, fairly expensive though. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! sloppyjoespit Posted July 1, 2019 Author Posted July 1, 2019 Wow, looks awesome - thanks for sharing! My only concern with your build is lack of a travel power; is there any way to work in a travel power and still keep most the benefits of your build?
Sapphire Lotus Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I suppose you could drop Boost Range, I tend to just use Ninja run+Sprint and buy a travel power from the P2W vendor for those times I need to get long range fast.
sloppyjoespit Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 ... I never actually thought about just using a temp travel power to get around. All this time I’ve been avoiding builds that don’t have travel powers because I didn’t want to spend all my time commuting between missions. It’s all starting to come together now lol... Thanks again man! I’m now 3 levels away from employing your build 8)
Sapphire Lotus Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 Glad I could help! Do me a favor and let me know how you like it and if there could be improvements, ive been tweaking it on Justin, but I just dont have the time that I used to. :)

Drop Stun (weakest power in the entire set anyway), slot Power Thrust similarly-ish (something with accuracy in it or possibly the Force Feedback proc), pick travel power of your choice. I would advise against slotting Build-Up like that though. One recharge + the Gaussian's proc is much, much stronger offensively (will proc 90% for another +100% damage) and well worth sacrificing a little defense for.
