Acroyear Posted Friday at 08:18 PM Posted Friday at 08:18 PM For the past several months I've noticed that enemies with ranged weapons (guns, rifles, etc.) fire the weapon as they are drawing it, shooting into the ground or up into the air, but the attack still targets the player character. It seems the animation timing is off, as the weapons discharge as the animation plays of the figure pulling the weapon (whether from the side or the back), with the sound and the flash of the weapon firing playing immediately. Hopefully this can be corrected quickly as it really breaks the immersion in the game world. 1

And some of the DP visuals showing the bullets being fired into the air and arcing down to strike their targets doesn't? There are quite a few aspects of the game that require, not merely suspending, but hanging, drawing, and quartering disbelief. 2

There are quite a few aspects of the game that require, not merely suspending, but hanging, drawing, and quartering disbelief. The difference being that the arcing bullets do that by dev power design and the mob misfires are doing that by game error. The mobs didn't used to do that, at least not so consistently. 1 2
