I'm slowly playing through red side on one of my very few villain characters, the highest I've ever gone so far during Homecoming.  (I've little memory of red side during the original game.)  I've nearly completed the Mr. G (primal) contact arc, and have reached what appears to be the finale, and with it a question:

Spoiler

The mission is labeled "Rob Vanguard's Safehouse".  In the wiki, it's called "Finale: Choosing the Inevitable".

Vanguard gives you a choice:  Turn over Mr. G and allies in exchange for the currency at the safehouse  OR fight Vanguard in hopes of taking the currency afterwards.  My question:  does this choice have any lasting consequences?   The wiki just described it, and didn't weigh the pros and cons.  Obviously fighting Vanguard gives more XP, but I'm curious if doing so, and keeping Mr. G free as a result, offers a different contact or story path afterward.  Likewise, if I were to turn him in, are there mission opportunities lost later, or perhaps a different contact that I'd be directed towards?

Nothing is lost whichever choice you make, though the contact location in St. Martial will be empty if you turn them in.   If you don't turn them in, they're just hanging out there.

Thanks, lemming!   So now my villain can be completely comfortable that his life will not be affected if he both takes the money and turns on others.

Yeeeeessss...
