I've found you can set your options and save to a file and load them up on every character so settings say the same regardless of which character you're playing...Can I do that for chat tabs?  I want to set all of my chat channels the same and not have to figure out what I changed and re-do it for every character. Is that possible? If so, how do I do that?

Yes, you can. Just go to "Options", select the "Windows" tab, then scroll down to the bottom. The option you want is "Chat Settings > Save to default". Just set your chat up how you like it (or use a character where you already have) and hit save. Those settings will now be used on every new character. To add them to an already existing character, use the "load default" option.

You can also use slash commands ( / ) to save and restore settings

I used

/wdwsave (window save) and /wdwload

/optsave (options) /optload

/bindsave (binds) /bindload

/chatsave (chat) /chatload

So once you have your UI working the way you like it, your binds are all configured and you know the colours of your UX etc and your chat tabs you can  use those as saves which sets as default, then load them every time you play on a different character to give yourself consistency.

There's a fine line between a numerator and a denominator but only a fraction of people understand that.
