Error message if server is busy, or am I doing something wrong?

So I'm getting this. Is the the "it's swamped, wait a bit" or is something else wrong?

Nah, just keep trying to login, alot of people are trying to login at the same time as you so the server's freaking out a bit.

over 10,000 new people have activated in the past 24 hours from what I heard and there were approx 2,500 in the game around 3:00 PM CST - now we are in prime time which means a whole lot more.

It's funny because I get that whole message, or I get the "username/password is wrong" twice in a row, and then again the login message. I just want to get on for a few. *sigh

Been getting the same issue for hours. My friend tried and got in on the first try. I'm not convinced I'm not doing something wrong.

 

Update: I closed out of Tequila and when I opened it back up it spent a couple seconds validating and now I'm able to log in

I'm also getting that message. I'll try again later, but in the meantime I'm designing my characters in Titan Icon.
