Fold Space, or Combat Teleport with a Gaussian's BU proc?

So I'm running a RAD/SS Tanker with lots of proc'ed out AoE, most of it PBAoE. I've chosen the Teleport travel pool because I like its speed, the ability to 'port allies to me and, initially, because Fold Space would seem to be a no-brainer to compliment my area attacks.

I've never used Combat Teleport before, so I don't know how cumbersome it is to actually use, particularly once your group gets on a roll, but it looks like it could take a Guissian's Build-Up proc and that's got me wondering if that would be a viable tactic to take. My instinct is that the power probably isn't smooth to use without some sort of macro/keybind invested and that Fold Space is the way to go, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience using both, and if the BU proc would work the way I think it would. I'd hate to waste a respec just for that unless it's genuinely effective.

I tend to have a lot of teleporters, but don't tend to use combat teleport as much though it's not a bad power with a low investment.

"powexec_location target Teleport" and going the same with Combat Teleport really made a huge difference in how I run them.   And Fold Space is pretty darn useful as long as you're not pulling everyone out of someone else's AOE.

The targetted TP is great for going a lot of different places since it works for enemies, teammates, NPCs, (anything you can name really)

This will work thru many walls, etc... though some maps have blocked spots.

I've precisely one character which has a Gaussian in Combat TP. It goes off extremely rarely, feels very much like the baseline 6.5% chance. Not worth it IMO unless you can't slot it anywhere else and you already have both +perception and a Winter's Gift unique.

The combat teleport power itself however is definitely very useful for a melee toon. No thought required anymore to reposition yourself or navigate through tricky geometry or up/down stairwells - just tap your "teleport to the currently selected target" bind. Squishier toons may want to make additional binds to teleport up/down/left/right/backwards/whatever as it's a very fast animation + a good means of playing keepaway.

On a low-level character, while monitoring ToHit bonus (this was a Katana Scrapper) I wasn't seeing any +ToHit from Combat Teleport (when I made an attack)

This behavior is still there at level 50.
