Hello 🙂

 

 In my tour of the AT's I'm getting more comfortable building, with nods to the fine help along the way! 

 

 Thematic build with an attempt at being decently protected while having some firepower. Scrappers have always been a bit of a difficult play for me, coming from primarily a tanking mindset over-all as a gamer. 

 

I'm pretty pleased with this - over-all. One little bit I might change back is the Absorb proc in Kuji-In Sha. I had a Aegis Psionic status res in before and feel I might miss it. We'll see.

 

 

Edit - Forgot to add, I changed the defense debuff from the set piece to an invention +5 instead. Not sure what I was thinking 😄

Made 22 in a very casual way today. 

 

Plays wonderfully so far as presented. 

 

A few things I've done,

 

At 12 I took time out to merit farm via zone exploration badges. I used them to turn into influence which I then used to get a Panacea +Hit Points/Endurance attuned enhancement. ( 8mil )

 

At 16 I used acquired merits via ATFs to fund an attuned Kismet +To hit. It went in Combat Jumping, of course. (4mil)

 

At 19 I noticed my endurance with all my toggles on being kinda a thing 🙂 

 

It got worse when I used more acquired merits to fund an attuned force feedback +Recharge in Cross Punch. (1mil)

 

Everything else is correct level S.O's

 

I need to address the endo the next time I level up 😄

That's what Kyoyo is for. It's one of the cornerstones of what makes /Nin on scrapper better than /Nin on stalkers. At 5 slots with no set bonuses (2 end mod SOs, 3 recharge SOs) you can get back 50% endurance every 30 seconds, which ignores recovery debuffs. There's absolutely no need for the additional slots you dumped into health and stamina in a final build, especially if you are also taking body mastery with physical perfection.

 

Why did you get cross punch so early? Is it for theme? If not you could have saved 3 power picks and fit in your mez protection at level 10, kyoyo at 16. If you need another early level attack you can always take crane kick and use it as a finisher or put a kb-kd proc in it, and respec out of it for your final build. If you hate waiting for your attacks to recharge at early levels you can always swap out storm kick for thunder kick, and respec out of it for the final build once you get enough global recharge bonuses.

 

If you do take tough early I'd just use it as a mule for the 3% defense IOs and never toggle it on. I'd slot your heal as an actual heal rather than mule that for the defense uniques. I consider getting 40% of your hp back every 30 seconds with just SOs (2 heal 3 recharge) a lot more useful than 17% resist to S/L only and additional endurance drain.

 

Here's how I would progress my power picks on a natural martial/nin leveling build. Assuming you have the +def uniques, a luck can near-softcap you before you even get weave.

Eagle's Claw isn't something you skip. You DRASTICALLY increases the chance of crit for your next MA attacks for 2s. It really is why the set can do really good AOE and really good ST.

 

Here are the details per City of Data. It says by 33%. That is a LOT. Put the ATO2 in EC and if it goes off....that's an extra 83% chance to crit for your next couple MA attacks. The ATO1 universal extra 3%? Takes that to 86%.

 

Yeah.

 

Martial Arts slaps hard. Or kicks.
