Pagoda Help

So I watch an amazing video on a base creator and their Pagoda. So I went in and tried to start my own. 
 

I am stuck at the gate. How do you make the pagoda roof. It looks like Roman awnings. When  I try to place them, they don’t fit. I can’t even get them to line up.

I would say don't stress it too much. There is a corner piece to the roman awnings that helps, but - (and don't tell anyone I said this...) not everything need be perfect 🙂 It's GREAT when you can make everything seamless, and Squidget has a significantly cleaner roof on display in their follow-up Garden base, but it's not necessary.

If you closely inspect the roof in The Pagoda -

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You'll see that there are gaps, and changes in material, and the support beams don't even attach to the wall - and you know what? No one cares 😄 The base is still a beauty by anyone's standards. So, don't overthink it!
