Jitsuko Posted Thursday at 08:58 PM Posted Thursday at 08:58 PM I would love, an option to turn the enemy into stone, instead of summoning chunks of earth. Would give my Medusa themed character with Earth Control/Poison, the thematic punch it needs 🙂  Gorgon Zola on Reunion 1 2

It would be phenomenally great for my cockatrice character.  (Edit: For clarification, the reason why I question if it can be done is because current effects don't alter the character itself, it simply applies a visual effect to the character. For petrification, the character itself would need to be modified to replace everything with a stone texture. And then when the power wore off, revert the character design to its original state.)  Edited Thursday at 11:45 PM by Rudra
Doc_Scorpion Posted Thursday at 11:45 PM Posted Thursday at 11:45 PM I'd love it too, but like Rudra I'm not sure it's easily done. Unofficial Homecoming Wiki - Paragon Wiki updated for Homecoming! Your contributions are welcome! (Not the owner/operator - just a fan who wants to spread the word.)
Renatos1023 Posted Friday at 12:02 AM Posted Friday at 12:02 AM (edited) For an alternate animation, what about something similar to the Dark/ hold, where the target seems to just be petrified, with their hands up and held in some shadow mist. Except instead of the shadows around the character, it can be some brown/dark dust and dirt. Just a thought since that animation/code is already there. Edited Friday at 12:03 AM by Renatos1023 Global: @Renatos     Server: Everlasting My Top Dog Defenders: Liza Frost - Lv.50 Cold/Ice; Tara Sonara - Lv.50 Nature/Sonic; Voice of Gaia - Lv.50 Sonic/Sonic; Twilight Servant - Lv.50 Dark/Dark Defender; Tenebrous Tide - Lv.50 Dark/Water; Elloria Neutrina - Lv.50 Empathy/Radiation; Commander Trax - Lv.50 Traps/Beam Rifle; Hailblast - Lv.50 Storm/Storm; Elektra Cross - Lv.50 Electric/Electric; Agent Sureshot - Lv.50 Trick Arrow/Electric; Siren's Wave - Lv.48 Marine/Sonic; Agent Blayze - Lv.46 Thermal/Fire; Midnight Servant - Lv.45 Time/Dark; Maysin Payne - Lv.36 Pain/Psychic Other Mains: Nox Eternal - Lv.50 Dark/Spines Tank; Maysin Frost - Lv.50 Ice/Ninja Blaster; Kadsuane - Lv.50 Storm/Storm Corrupter; Fenix Frost - Lv.50 Ice/Ice Scrapper; Helena Hollowpoint - Lv.46 AR/Invincibility Sentinel
TheMoneyMaker Posted Friday at 02:06 AM Posted Friday at 02:06 AM There's a shadowy aura in the prismatic aether tier 3 effects that gives you glowing eyes and darkens your overall look but still keeps your costume details. If the target can be given a paralyzed pose and apply a temporary effect like this (minus the glowing eyes and maybe make it more grainy and gray instead of dark, that might accomplish the temporary turn to stone effect.
PoptartsNinja Posted Friday at 06:22 AM Posted Friday at 06:22 AM (edited) I could see that working with the rocky crumble aura in place of the usual dark particle effects. Edited Friday at 06:22 AM by PoptartsNinja 1
