Muddyboot Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I created a bind to activate a power when I scroll forward with the mouse wheel. It worked, but it also zooms in at the same time. Ideally I would like to zoom in an out using the key board and utilize mouse wheel forward and back to fire off abilities. I have been able to figure this out in other games but not in coh. I am guessing that this is default behavior I am stuck with. Problem with that is I have been gaming for many years and my fingers naturally gravitate towards certain keys. Anything else feels clunky. Figured it was worth asking the community. I can’t be the only one out there that plays like this…or can I? Any help appreciated.
Captain Fabulous Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) In the Controls option there is a Mouse Scroll setting. Alternatively In the options.txt file there is a setting called DisableMouseScroll. Set it to 1 and that should disable the mouse wheel scrolling. EDIT: my bad, I don't think this works. EDIT #2: you might be able to create a workaround using a program like AutoHotKey to replace the mousewheel with another action in CoH that you can bind to. Edited April 2 by Captain Fabulous
BlackSpectre Posted Tuesday at 07:53 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:53 AM Commands on MOUSEWHEEL and WHEELPLUS (or WHEELMINUS) will activate at the same time. So to have only WHEELPLUS or WHEELMINUS activate without MOUSEWHEEL, you will need to disable the "+camdistadjust" command bound to MOUSEWHEEL with the following bind: /bind MOUSEWHEEL "nop" For more info, see https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/List_of_Key_Names Black Spectre - A Dark Defender's Home on the Web • The Advanced Bind Guide • The Masters of BAF: A Guide for Leaders and Players • The Wiki List of Slash Commands
