Player2 Posted Thursday at 08:23 AM Posted Thursday at 08:23 AM I've been criticized in the past for playing my tanker more like a scrapper and overcompensating for things I don't need to (like 5-slotting Health & Stamina with 3 basic IOs and 2 procs, and I haven't played her in awhile until recently when I've found that she's lost her natural tankiness against the revamped Council and CoT. Warshades Posted Thursday at 01:36 PM Posted Thursday at 01:36 PM (edited) I'll upload 2 quick builds I did, one is focused on damage by procing out your attacks (double stacked rage will handle accuracy and damage boosting the attacks). The other is focused on survival by attempting to layer on defense/resistance as much as possible on top of your regen. I assume you took hover as a slot mule for LotG +rech and removed it (I don't particularly like hover personally and more importantly, I don't think it's a good fit with foot stomp). Hurl is plane bad, just don't take it. The one thing worth changing/adjusting (if you're having issues with KB from Council) is putting in more -kb protection uniques and/or set bonuses. You could easily swap the slow resist in SJ that's on the survival build for a blessing of zephyr KB protection. On the damage build, I'd probably replace the 3 piece unbreakable in Mind Over Body to a 3 piece gladiator armor to get a bit more KB protection built in. Heatstroke Posted Friday at 07:28 PM Posted Friday at 07:28 PM (edited) My build is a little different. I tried to add in some more defense. I also really worked on getting more regen into the build. Unless I get hit with A LOT of -regen this guy can survive most things in the regular game ( havent tried any of the super hard 4 star TFs or anything like that ). Without Incarnates he will regen about 86HP a second with one foe in range. 99.57 with Icarnate Vigor. With the average size mob on a full sized team being about 8 per group, that will get him up tp about 148hp per second. and he still has a T4 Rebirth in his back pocket which will get him to a little over 300HP per second.. at that point he is darn near unkillable. and he sits around 50% defense to Smashing Lethal with 84% Resist to S/L I think thats pretty solid. I didnt go for a bunch of regen with sets. I didnt think it was necessary with this build. I could probably squeeze out a little more regen if I slotted the Impervious Skin Proc, but I kind of like him where he is right now. With tanks I tend to care less about doing a lot of damage. Maelwys Posted Friday at 07:50 PM Posted Friday at 07:50 PM (edited) I think ~100HP/sec with one foe in RTTC range plus softcapped typed Defenses and Hardcapped S/L Resistance is probably a good target to shoot for... and you can lean into the SMoT Proc ATO to close the resistances gap a bit. I'm a bit iffy about relying on Barrier or Rebirth Destiny though since Ageless gives both Recharge and Defense Debuff Resistance. Even if you're not taking any Patron AoEs, Rage plus a few Damage Procs (and a Force Feedback) in Footstomp is still pretty decent. You'll never be competing with the likes of a RadArmor Tanker for sheer AoE Damage mayhem anyway. zTanker - WP_SS IOed (CrossPunch).mbd Edited Friday at 08:00 PM by Maelwys
