Ridiculous Girl Posted Wednesday at 07:20 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:20 PM this is related to my bug report concerning having 999 alts on a server and being unable to use the character creation button if the 1000th slot space is not empty. i noticed something else, that probably warrants a separate bug report, because i love to write bug reports! 😄 i know i have an alt problem, i am an admitted altoholic, but... since i had all of the slots filled again to 1000, i had been transferring alts to another server. i used my last two server transfer tokens, and when it went through, i noticed that the empty slot disappeared. i started searching for the empty slots since i cannot use the CC button if they are not at the end there, i needed to move them from the 649th place to slot 999 by hand. but since i could not find my two empty slots anywhere, i went to the end and found i was missing the two slots, i had only 998 places, despite it saying i had 998/1000. so could not make a new alt, because not only was the 1000th place not empty, it stopped existing for a short time! 🫣 to my eternal relief, just logging off of the server was enough to reset the slots in their proper places. 😅 6 hours ago, Ridiculous Girl said: i figured i would let you know about this too... 😉 "I'm not crazy, my reality is just different than yours" the Cheshire Cat "Ce n'est rien de mourir; c'est affreux de ne pas vivre" (It's nothing to die, it's terrible not to live) Jean Valjean "وطن المرء ليس مكان ولادته و لكنه المكان الذي تنتهي فيه كل محاولاته للهروب” (Home is not where you were born, home is where all your attempts to escape cease.) Marine X Posted Wednesday at 07:36 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:36 PM It's possible that it may be holding the slots as unavailable until the Character Transfer is completed successfully so that it has someplace to put them if it should fail, that way the characters aren't lost. Just a guess but it would make sense. How long did you wait before checking for available slots? 1 " When it's too tough for everyone else, it's just right for me..." ( Unless it's Raining, or Cold, or Really Dirty or there are Sappers, Man I hate those Guys...) Marine X

How long did you wait before checking for available slots? i got the pop-up message that the transfer was sucessful, it was after that pop-up that i saw the empty slot disappear, before my very eyes!!! but i did not think anything of it when it happened. it was just when i started looking for it a couple of minutes later to create a new character that i could not find them. since i have transferred others, because i got 5 more, i have not had the same problem. i guess i'll have to see if i can recreate it, because i think it had to do with the last transfer of my available tokens. i'll transfer a couple of others to see if anything happens.
