...My mind boggles over clicking powers...

Ever since the beta i've always clicked the powers lol. It's a habit i can't get out of

This may be a dumb question, but if so then it wouldn't be my first dumb question.

With the exception of auto-renewing hasten as per the video, is there an alternative to clicking powers that aren't toggles that I've not heard about?

Also, for the OP, it was a bit surprising that corners weren't used to gather mobs together because breaking line of sight would have brought mobs shooting from range that were aggro'd on your stalker closer together with the melee mobs, allowing for better target saturation for your AOEs. To be fair, your stalker clearly wasn't struggling and so use the corners wasn't necessary. Perhaps you didn't mind being a bit slower to finish up, which would make sense.

Lol. Tough talk from a guy who doesn't know what keybinds are.

In-game client has default keybinds of your first three trays (the ones that don't float) to the number row, and then to either Ctrl+#, Alt+#, or Shift+# - Legacy is Ctrl and Alt, new/modern default is Ctrl and Shift, IIRC... I use legacy.

Additionally, you have the ability to create custom keybinds in-client per character (that can also be made YOUR default to apply globally) to execute either powers directly, or activate powers in slots on the tray.

At this point, about the only time I'm clicking powers is if they're in one of the 3 floating trays I use. Everything in my primary gets executed by keystroke. And I use other QoL binds for general gameplay - e.g. Alt+R for "++up" toggling on auto-jump, and easy combo to "R, Alt+R" and I'm auto-running and jumping; Alt+button4 "powexecname Athletic Run" - turns on/off my travel power; etc...

Death is the best debuff.

Also, use ERTF as your movement keys. it gives you more keyboard estate for your pinky and ring finger.

I just bind keys directly to trays nowadays and I keep it consistent across all characters in how powers are assigned to trays. For example, build up type powers are always at the same tray location for each char, same for nukes, pets, etc... The only powers I click with my mouse are toggles, as those are set and forget and I don't mind the "extra work" using my mouse on those. I also put my toggles on a separate tray so they are all together.

With the additional 2 columns of keys on your pinky side, you should be able to map all your click powers via direct key presses and shift+key presses without also needing to dip into alt and ctrl + key presses.

Moving the mouse around to both find targets and to click powers leads to a fair amount of misclicks for me and slows down the process of getting things done. This seems like an excellent suggestion that should save some wear and tear on my mouse-hand wrist, as well. Plus, after a bit of reflection it seems likely that I can work out single target attack chains that rely on consistent key press combinations.

I'll try this idea out. Hopefully my left hand can learn the muscle memory needed to make this smoothly work.
