Blaster Nuke Alternates

I like staying at range. But many Blaster sets have PBAOE nukes.

 

Could we get alternate versions of nukes that are Ranged AOEs that we could choose to take instead of the standard version? Applying the standard formulas for the damage as I understand that Ranged AOEs are weaker than PBAOEs. Maybe PBAOE versions of the ranged nukes we have while we're at it? I don't imagine it being labor intensive since the normal nuke effects can mostly left unchanged if you don't want delegate much resources to it and it would open up more choices and build possibilities.

This is extremely unlikely to happen. When you build a character, you know at the outset whether the nuke is ranged or PBAoE. If you want a ranged nuke, pick a set that has one. There are 8 of them.
