Dark/Shield or SS/Shield?

Dark/Shield or SS/Shield? I like the idea of both.

 

Kinda torn between them. Anyone got any starter Mids to compare the two to?

Dark/Shield giveth defense SS/Shield rage crash taketh away.

SS isn't bad if you build enough defense to compensate for rage crashes.

Definitely Dark. Soul Drain + Against All Odds + Shield Charge = many dead things.
