VeiledOwl Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I started Operative Kirkland's badge mission 'Eliminate Negotiator and Witnesses', which is a cargo ship map that starts with you on the outside and transitions to the interior. Noticed after a while that my pet wasn't helping anymore, so I clicked it's name in the pet box. Pet was 1k yards away. I go back outside to see if it somehow got stuck on map architecture, only to find that no, it's right there ramming back and forth against the door trying to follow me in. I go in again. Pet doesn't follow. Go back out, still banging its non-existent face into the door. I dismissed it, then re-summoned it inside the ship, which fixed the issue; it could enter and exit freely after that. Character was a dominator, and the map was Zone/Mission: V_Outdoor_Ship3 Position: [3272.5 -162.4 -230.0], if that matters at all. Making an AE arc? This can happen with any pet, due to the sudden distance change when you use an 'elevator' — office and lab elevators or, as you found, a door between inside and outside of a multi-area map like you had. The pathing algorithm sends it to the door, but if you're already too far away for the 'follow thru the door/up the elevator' code to trigger, the pet will just stay there bouncing off the door. You have to wait for your pet to catch up before entering for it to come with you.
