Savage Melee/Rad Scrapper build request.

I've played Savage Melee briefly and it was okay but I admit I probably didnt know what I was doing in terms of slotting so it was in no way optimized, but my alt-itus flared up again and I kinda want to try this combo but my build-fu blows chunks.  I don't suppose anyone has tried this combo and has a workable build for it?  I am looking for something somewhat survivable but still able to push out a good amount of damage, and I know this is a res set and def is more a scrappers forte but the mitigation factors appeal to me.  Influence is no object either.

 

Of course granted this is going to be a leveling thing for the most part,  but if there are going to be changes to the end game build vs the leveling build I would love some advice on what powers to skip and what are absolutely essential.  Theme is going to be a blue striped white tiger guy and I am going to say that nothing really is off the table in terms of power selection.

I'm sorry that I don't have time to put together a potential build right now (and I have zero experience with Savage Melee) but I do want to throw out the random caution that you should make sure you are fine with the visuals created by Rad Armor. For some people it doesn't matter in the slightest, but for others it can ruin their visual concept of the character (since there are no 'min fx' options with Rad) to the point that it's unplayable. Might not be an issue, but just something to be aware of before you invest the time.

I thought it would matter with the fx for Rad but so far, not really having an issue with it visually.  The concept changed to a nuclear panther (not tiger) and honestly it's been working quite well. 🙂

 

I think I found a build to start me off but...not sure if its all that good as it is.  So far I haven't had many issues but im still only lvl 16.
