Dark/Savage

I am looking for some feedback on a new dark/savage tanker i am cooking up. I know dark is very sturdy and now has some tools to help with endurance. I am not sure if i should be building for more layered defense or what. For Savage, i honestly have no idea what powers are worth it. I saw some builds with no shred, i hear hemorrhage is not good but the damage looks great. Honestly just not 100% sure what the play style is but it seems cool. Any/all feedback welcome.

Dark Regeneration is the best heal in the game and you're not planning on taking it?

 

You have a lot of attacks and it looks like have more than your potential attack chain will need.

 

DA doesn't have any DDR so don't rely too much on Defense as it will evaporate when you are faced with defense debuffs.

 

Most Dark Armor tanks typically pad resistances high use OG to stun minions/Lts and reduce incoming DPS that way, while having Dark Regeneration to heal from any damage that does get through..

 

Try your build on the test server though and see how it does. Maybe it's enough for what you prefer.

I know it is a good heal but i thought obscure sustenance was preferred since DA is so end heavy. From what i could find on the forums it seems like most builds take obscure sustenance since it was released. 

 

I actually don't know how to get on the test sever. I am sure that is on the forums somewhere - i will look into that and give it a whirl.

To be honest obscure looks good, but Dark Regen is a 1% to Full and recharges pretty damn fast. Maybe I'm old and set in my ways. I'll have to try and alternate build on one of my 3 Dark Armor tanks.

 

Honestly cloak of fear looks a lot better these days especially if pairing with darkest night.

Any recs on SM? I started building this toon on test after you suggested it but I didn't finish getting the IOs in. I was going to test out the attacks and see which ones I liked.
