ColdHeart Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I am trying to copy the aesthetic with the what is available in the base editor, this image here: I have no idea how to make that frame work or what comes close. Any ideas?
Sharlisse Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) I threw together a short section of the framework itself from memory, using the Power Wirelink 4 and Power Scaffolding 6 pieces in the editor -- it's obviously the wrong color, the pieces I used don't have rounded edges, and I made the top section of the arch too long so there is room for five windows instead of four, but it's the same basic idea. You would want to extend the horizontal pieces, then build another arch with more horizontal pieces, and a third arch and so on. You might also want to START by finding glass panels of the right size, then assemble the framework around them. Hope that helps! Edited August 7 by Sharlisse
ColdHeart Posted August 7 Author Posted August 7 Thanks, yeah too bad it is not tintable. It's very good so far.
ColdHeart Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 Need help with base construction but I am thinking of commissioning someone to help me. Not sure where to begin.
Retired Community Rep Dacy Posted yesterday at 08:46 AM Retired Community Rep Posted yesterday at 08:46 AM You can use alphabet letters, they are tintable. Much the architecture of Metro Plaza (GO-28888 on Everlasting) and the skylight in MUSE-34040 (also Everlasting) is done from alphabet lettering. (both by @Garbage Wizard) Now, here in GO, the overarching curved sky dome is done from those same power scaffoldings pictured above, the aqua and white work is all lettering. And Muse: The City of Builder's Discord is a good place for advice, help, and sometimes, for finding a builder.
