LegionAlpha Posted Friday at 07:32 PM Posted Friday at 07:32 PM Context first, I was reading Superman Doomsday Clock where Superman was suppose to kill Dr. Manhattan after being framed for crimes and how he the Doctor created the events that changed the DC universe for a time no thanks to Ozymandias. In the battle leading up to it, Superman looks like he was finally in the vision of Dr. Manhattan the future he could only see, and that was his death. But only to find that Superman seems to have spared him and realized he was a hero that Dr. Manhattan did not have in his universe. What caught my eye in the comic was the event in October 25 2030 where Dr. Manhattan saw a vision of Superman was transported to the what I guess is the MCU where he battled a villain and with Thor and the green behemoth(Hulk) who was stronger than Doomsday who died saving Superman. Which got me thinking, did someone read this comic and thought this was a good idea? Which leads me into Deadpool which had everyone in Wolverine and Deadpool movie theater asking was such and event inspired the question "Why was Thor crying?" Imagine this could happed( Not really)? 1
Triumphant Posted Saturday at 01:58 AM Posted Saturday at 01:58 AM I'm afraid that compacted (and rather complicated) synopis has only confused me. So, basically, I have no idea what you're talking about (Granted, I haven't read the particular comics that you mentioned. This probably makes perfect sense to someone that has read them). You do have me curious, though. 😄

But there is a comic connection to the upcoming movie of sorts and to get the full background you do have to read the book. In a nutshell DC was putting an ending story to Dr. Manhattan and the Watchmen , by having Dr. Manhattan be the one screwing up the DC universe and we ending up with the story of the New 52 in an attempt to reboot the comic universe to make it modern and edgy.
Triumphant Posted Saturday at 04:57 AM Posted Saturday at 04:57 AM Ah, okay! Thanks for the clarification. 👍
