The final mission of Vincent Ross's arc has you go literal god mode against a horde of enemies. You get massive buffs to a variety of stats, including huge defence and resistance buffs that make you effectively invincible. It's a fun little bit of power fantasy. However, I just played through this arc on a Mastermind and was disappointed to find out that while pets do get buffed as well, they only get offensive buffs (damage and ToHit). The result is that I spent a lot of the fight resummoning the pets repeatedly, which didn't feel much like god mode. I don't really see any reason why the pets shouldn't also get defensive buffs; the mission is intentionally completely lacking in challenge so it's not as though there could be a balance problem. (If the buff had a "power boost" component I would assume the idea was to use godmoded secondary powers to keep your pets alive, but it doesn't.)
