Battle Axe/Regen - build feedback

After the rework of regen, and enjoying it on my scrapper. I decided to make another regen character, this time I chose a brute to play around with. I did a BA toon back on live, but my knowledge on them is a bit rusty. So I scrapped up a draft one of what I am thinking of what I want to character to look like at the end. I was just seeing if there is anything I missed over in the current idea.

 

The only thing I have noted I will probably change is Char to Gloom, I just was lazy and forgot to do it.

Looks good. I'd shuffle a few bits, not sure 2nd wind needs the slots, a single boosted rech io is uaully enough to get it perma if your build has the recharge.

 

Drop the PS proc from QR for a 3rd synapse shock for slow res.

Drop the dmg/end mod from stamina and toss the PS proc in.

Take the slots from 2nd wind, put 2 in weave, luck of the gambler 7.5% and a 4th shield wall piece, now  you have the same recharge and better e/ne res. Extra slots could go in BU/MoG or you could leave 1 in 2nd wind and max its rech with 2 boosted io's. I'd put an extra rech in MoG.

Take the dmg io out of cleave and toss in the oblit dmg and boost it. More s/l res.

 

If you find you have an extra slot left put the numi proc in ailment resistance with the numi heal piece and boost it for regen bonus. Throw a miracle into health. Or vice versa.

 

I don't like slotting taunt with zinger but thats just me, i much prefer a taunt/placate/rech piece.

 

If it wasn't for the resistance bonuses in brute AT sets i wouldn't slot them at all and i'd be looking at proccing those 2 attacks and finding bonuses elsewhere. Slotting a crushing impact acc/dmg with acc/dmg/end in each with 2-3 touch of death pieces and an extra chance for damage. You lose a little s/l/e/ne but those brute sets are soooooo bad.

Yeah, I usually do not like the Brute AOs bite the resistance and recharge are too important to pass up on Regen, so they unfortunately need to be put in. Even if the other sets bonuses are garbage.

 

I took the rest of the notes and made the changes, and some adjustments to squeeze around. Mainly shifting the extra slot in infiltration into ailment resistance to the two slot Numi. That gave Miracle Recovery+ in Health. Then two slot Second Wind with two Protective Heath for the extra S/L resistance.

 

Some more stats squeezed out, I will see how it all goes once I get some more reps on it.
