Installed to Download

When I installed CoX sometime back I installed to the download folder. Now I’m having trouble with vidiotmaps and was wondering if there was a way to correct the issue without reinstalling? Is there a list of what files/folders so I could move everything into a much more tidy “City if Heroes” folder? Thanks!

Besides the files there are a few registry entries that would need to be adjusted to change path values.

 

You can do it but it would be easier, and safer if you are not comfortable with regedit, just to reinstall.

Will reinstalling mess up macros?

 

Also is there an uninstaller for tequila/CoH?

I believe macros, binds, and costumes are saved to files.  I know binds and costumes are, macros I'm not sure.  Save these folders and copy to the new location.

 

There isn't a Tequila uninstall, but when you run it next it should update the registry entries to the new locations.  If you are worried you can remove tequila, run just about any free registry cleaner, then reboot and they will be gone.

 

Make sure the directory you install Tequila and CoH to is set to give you Full Control to.  if you install it somewhere outside of your My Documents you may have to right click and select Run as Administrator to get Tequila to read the manifests.
