  1. I pointed my Creamsoda to the manifest you specified and ended up with HC, HC 64, HC Safe, HC Beta, HC Beta 64, HC Beta Safe, Paragon, and Titan. It removed COXG, Rebirth and the other non-HC servers that were available. Piggs all verified without issue for the base HC then it downloaded the Beta/64/Safe installs. Looking at the actual XML there are no other servers in there.
  2. What I always thought as well. My question is always why does anyone still live in Paragon City? How is there anyone left to victimize? If you're a street thug why would you be in a place with ten-thousand people capable of lifting cars and firing radiation from their eyes are living and looking to pounce on you for purse snatching? How is it considered 'Arresting' when a guy with Super Strength uppercuts you a city block or the telekinetic drops a dumpster on your head? Where the hell did that dumpster come from anyway?
  3. If you are interested in building up an SG Street Fight Sirens is recruiting. Right now it's just me and 1 other player and I'm active 4-5 nights a week for 2-4 hours at a time. The other players we had have stopped playing (sad face emoji). Alt friendly, looking for a Coalition, yadda yadda, the usual.
  4. Check your video drivers. If they have been updated do a roll back. If they are way out of date, update them.
  5. The one you plug the network cable into. as opposed to a phone line or cable TV coax. Who is your ISP? On the box from your ISP there will be a brand and maybe a model like Arris TM822G or some such. What we want to see is if we can work around any firewalls. Most home switches/switch router combos had a simple one by default. Some you can turn off. Some get locked by the ISP and you have to contact them. I'm just trying to get a grasp for what you have so I can plan the next test. A couple of other tests that can be tried quickly: If you use a free proxy or vpn service can you connect to CoH? Can you connect to Victory or one of the other CoX providers?
  6. Does it do the same thing if you use Creamsoda instead of Tequila?
  7. How do you connect to the internet? Is there a separate modem and router/switch or is it all in one? If you aren't sure, where it comes in your house from the ISP is there a single Ethernet jack or multiple?
  8. Try this: Click your search button next to the start button. Type in firewall You should see a Firewall & Network Protection Click each entry (might be 2 or 3, Domain, Private, Public) and turn them all to off Try CoH If that works you can turn them all back on, 1 by 1, until you figure out who is causing the problem. Report back and we can work on setting up an exemption for CoH. If that doesn't work, let me/us know and we can look at something different.
  9. Check the security permissions on you SDD for the folder CoH is in. Security permissions do not cross physical drives (well you can make it, there are virtual, RAID, yadda, but in general, they don't). If you moved the files from drive to drive and reinstalled Windows you may have to take ownership of the folder. You can also have orphaned security entries as Windows will have the SIDs for the old users/groups that probably don't match the common names/SIDs for the same user/group on the new install.
  10. Just to check, go to start>run and type winver and enter. Can you give me the windows type and build number? The initial build of Win 10 1903 has been 'eccentric'. My standard advice when there is an issue with Tequila is try Creamsoda from Thunderspy and see if you have the same issue. You can still play on Homecoming but it seems to run leaner and I haven't had any crashes of it yet and the standard Tequila folder permissions problem didn't plague it.
  11. Fairly common issue. Simplest fix is run in Windowed mode and maximize the window.
  12. I believe macros, binds, and costumes are saved to files. I know binds and costumes are, macros I'm not sure. Save these folders and copy to the new location. There isn't a Tequila uninstall, but when you run it next it should update the registry entries to the new locations. If you are worried you can remove tequila, run just about any free registry cleaner, then reboot and they will be gone. Make sure the directory you install Tequila and CoH to is set to give you Full Control to. if you install it somewhere outside of your My Documents you may have to right click and select Run as Administrator to get Tequila to read the manifests.
  13. Windowed or Full Screen mode? On Windows 10 in Windowed Mode once the login screen comes up the program does not texbox.setfocus (or the equivalent for the language CoH is written in) as I would expect it to. I have to hunt for my cursor sometimes to locate it. You can open your mouse properties and set to locate cursor when CTRL is pressed. It is under Mouse>Additional Mouse Options>Pointer Options. This will show you if the cursor has just wandered off on you. You can also go to one screen and see if the behavior continues.
  14. Alias might not be registered. At a command prompt type wmic /? It will show you a list of aliases. If Homecoming is not there it needs to be registered. Information on that can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wmisdk/creating-an-alias
  15. Open a command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns to remove remnant or outdated DNS entries. I would then reboot and try again.
  16. I've had Tequila corrupt itself on me in the past and do something similar. Doing a clean install of it fixed the issue. I will say I have been using Creamsoda longer than I used Tequila and have not encountered this issue with it.
  17. Besides the files there are a few registry entries that would need to be adjusted to change path values. You can do it but it would be easier, and safer if you are not comfortable with regedit, just to reinstall.
  18. SG Name: Street Fight Sirens RP/RP Friendly: Yes Theme/Era: Golden to Chromium age fun luving superchicas and their fans. Redside/Blueside: Blue Recruitment Message: You may know me from my rants "But it is about RAM" and "It isn't always the server's fault". Besides being a techie pain in the ass with an over-inflated ego, I am also a fan of Adam Warren-esque/Empowered style superchicas. More She-Hulk than Psylocke for Marvel fans or Bab's Bat-Girl instead of Cassandra Cain. If you got a butt kicking superchica or are fans of butt kicking superchicas, this is your new home. No politics, no drama, no powertripping. Just beat badguys and pulverizes perps and look cool doing it. RP is Okay but not required, just try to keep it PG-13 as we support the Comic Code Authority around here. We are Alt friendly until we hit capacity and then will offer a support group for Altitis sufferers. No racism, sexual harassment, bigotry, or general butthole like activity allowed. Once we get enough members we'll look at SG taskforces, events, and the like. We are also looking for a cool Coalition to join, so hit me up. Thanks
  19. Check you BIOS and make sure the 720M is enabled. It is odd that it would run back to the 4000 chipset as that should be overridden by having any other video card installed on a laptop. I would say disable the 4000 but if it going back to it because there is a problem with the 720M you could render the laptop unusable. If you plug in an external display does it show up as the 720M? It might be the 4000 runs the laptops display and the 720 is only for the external HDMI/VGA port.
  20. I have not noticed the issue, did 3 DFBs yesterday in a row on Everlasting. But I have seen messages here indicating there has been a LFG queue issue being looked at.
  21. I had delays last night plus a mapserve issue on Everlasting. Didn't try other servers and it in no way made the game unplayable. I'm just chalking it up to one of those random server problems we get every now and then.
  22. If there is no rubberbanding I would lean toward a Nvidia driver update (assuming you have a NVidia card. It seems like their first pass at a driver update is always problematic) since you last played causing the issue or a refresh rate issue. Does the problem persist if you only hook up 1 monitor? Does it occur if you set the screen refresh rate to 60hz? Windows 7, 8.1, or 10?
  23. Can you attach or PM me the wireshark capture? With it I can tell you what the IPs are and possible see what is happening when you disconnect.
  24. That would lead me to believe the issue is with the background processes of Win 10 eating up resources where Windows 7 isn't. I would guess that it is probably network bandwidth as Win 10 is, by design, wanting to be always online and with a constant high-speed network connection while the basis of Win 7 is still rooted in code written for dial-up modems.
