Thermal bind help

I'd like a bind that is for the numpad 1-8 for the single target heal.  So 1 heals team member 1, 2 heals two, etc.

 

Also, if there is a good one for the two shields that would be neat.

I don't know if you can reliably both select a teammate and execute a power on them in 1 click.

 

The way I used to do something similar was as follows:

 

/bind numpad0 powexec_name cauterize

/bind numpad1 teamselect 1

 

And follow that 2nd bind with numpad2 through numpad8.  Then,  when you want to activate it,  press the corresponding numpad key and then numpad0.

 

Similarly, I would bind the two fire shields to multiply and divide and Forge to add.  That way I could quickly get at all the important buffs on the number pad. 

 

Nowadays,  I bind Warmth to button4 and if I take it, Cauterize to button5.  I started doing this because I started to lose track of what slot a player was in, so I might press the wrong number key and heal the wrong teammate.   Now I use my mouse to select a teammate and can just activate the heal with my thumb. 

 

I should note that I have an MMO mouse with 12 buttons on the side,  so I also can bind other buffs to other buttons on my mouse.

I could only find pet binds over there.

I use numpad binds a lot. @Psyonico is correct here, use your numpad1-8 keys for targeting (and in some cases, like Marine Affinity's heal, for FACING) your teammates, and the surrounding buttons for activating heals and buffs in them. (Also: Numpad9 can be a pet etc!)

 

For Thermal I'd typically use Numpad0 for healing, the * / + - keys for the Bubbles and Forge and Call to Justice (or a power pool buff like Enflame or Spirit Ward), NumpadEnter for my Destiny Incarnate Ability and "." for Thaw.
