I was running Doc Delilah's arc (The Buried Past). In the third mission (Find the recording), after rescuing Doc Delilah, she wasn't attacking nearby mobs. At first I thought she might be broken, only occasionally using Hurl. After a relog, I noticed that she was attacking, but only after either she or I took damage, like a pet in Defensive mode.

I'm posting it here because I didn't have any problems with other NPC combat pets before this arc (Icedrone in 'Lay Down Your Burdens' and No Mind in 'With Friends Like These' behaved as expected), so I don't know if Doc Delilah's Defensive behavior is intentional.

Q) Brain-piloted robots, framing beginning heroes and “adopting” them, nanobot assassins... what was the worst thing the Malta has ever done? {@Quinch}
A) Probably minelaying an entire floor with mines and then tying a badge to not setting any off. (Matt)

I am sure this is intentional.  Not all rescued NPCs that fight alongside you are set to aggressive.  In fact, most people hate it as they tend to aggro things they don't want and/or get themselves killed and failing the mission (like Lady Jane in the midnighter arc or rescuing the Dr in the Moonfire TF).  There are quite a few other NPCs out there set to Defensive, so it's quite normal.

I'm okay with that, I just remembered her being of the "At least I got chicken" mindset.
