BlackSpectre Posted Wednesday at 08:27 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:27 AM Yeah, this is strange so I thought someone here might like to know... In game, when I clicked on any popmenu, including the main menu, the popmenu opened and then closed about 1 second later... making popmenus impossible to use. It wasn't an issue with anything else on my Windows 11 computer. So had to be the game. Looking at Options--> Controls tab I saw that Game Controller showed device as "disconnected". Yes, I have been testing game controlers. I clicked on that and the setting changed to "None". Then all of a sudden I was able to click on popmenus and use them normally again. File this under "oddity", but it might signify something is not working right behind the scenes... srmalloy Posted Wednesday at 04:30 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:30 PM I've found that popmenus can be extremely sensitive to your moving the pointer out of the menu area; if the game is getting phantom reads from the game controller interface when the controller is disconnected, it can momentarily jerk the pointer out of the displayed popmenu, causing it to close unexpectedly. I believe there is another thread on the forums where the OP is observing that they are getting jerky pointer movements with the game controller option enabled in the game, but no controller is actually connected.
